If you’ve driven anywhere near the Potomac Mills mall area, you have probably noticed the number of people experiencing homelessness in the area and the tent cities around the area.

There is a lot of work to be done, but coming up with socially innovative ways of addressing the lack of housing and stability for the neediest among us can be done. Light Tree is working on developing initiatives aimed at not only providing housing access but job entry and stability and sustainable development.
The region is primed and ready for initiatives that not only address homelessness but add to our communities in ways that benefit everyone.
